Zope Debugger 0.8.2 Released!

Zope Debugger is an enhanced version of pdb for use with Zope. This release fixes compatability issues with Zope 2.9 and Python 2.4. It can be used simply by inserting the following lines in any python code you'd like to debug, including Script (Python)'s and FSPythonScripts: from Products.zdb import set_trace set_trace() It requires no changes to Zope, CMF or Plone or any funky interaction with any specific kind of editing software. All you really need to do is insert the snippet above and make sure your Zope instance is running in foreground mode. mod_pcgi2 has been declared obsolete

Hello! Zope lost support for PCGI protocol at version 2.7. Because of this I stopped maintaining mod_pcgi2. Today I switched my last site that have used mod_pcgi2 to mod_proxy. March 20, 2006 -- Nuxeo is pround to release CPSGroupware 1.9 CPSGroupware is a bundle of the CPSMailAccess webmail client and the CPSSharedCalendar web calendar. It adds powerful groupware feature to the CPS Platform, hence tightly integrate ECM and Groupware features. CPSMailAccess is a full featured open source webmail application for CPS3. It provides a flexible web interface to browse and send mails, fully integrated to CPS portals, as it can be used by any allowed member of the portal. CPSMailAccess goes further in the integration of the mail with the ECM space: unified search (corporate documents and mails), support of workflow on mails, etc. Features of CPSMailAccess include among others: * AJAX based mail editor, * drag'n'drop for mails and folders, * incoming mails filtering, * private and public address books, * mail indexing and search, * etc. Recent changes includes: * GenericSetup support for easier install * Protected folders, * Improved search, * and of course bugfixes. Nuxeo Calendar Server released in version 2 ------------------------------------------- Nuxeo releases version 2 of it's calendar products for Python and Zope, updating to the latest technology frameworks. Nuxeo proudly presents version 2 of it's calendar framework. The calendar framework is a set of advanced, flexible calendar components for Python and Zope. CalCore is a calendar component for Python. It allows the Python developer do write advanced calendar applications either using their own event storage or integrating with external calendar servers. Features of the CalCore include among others: * Support for making private calendars, shared calendars, resource booking and more, * invitation workflow, * iCalendar import and export, * meeting support, including helper functions to look for free time, * recurring event support, * etc. CalZope is the Zope module that provides a web user interface for CalCore. The goal of Zenoss is to "Simplify Systems Management" with a Python, open source alternative to the big commercial management suites (e.g. IBM Tivoli, HP OpenView, etc.). [Ann] ManagableIndex 1.2: efficient, flexible indexes fully managed via the ZMI

"ManagableIndex" is an indexing construction framework that facilitates building new indexes managable via the ZMI. It comes with field, keyword, range, path and word indexes which can be used in place of the Zope standard indexes. For all of them, value determination (how the value is determined an object should indexed under), ignore values, type conversion, normalization can be configured via the ZMI. Text based field, keyword und word indexes support matching not only for pattern with wildcards '*' and '?' but also for regular expression. If installed, all "ManagableIndex"s use "IncrementalSearch[2]" which can drastically speed up queries dominated by quite specific and queries (you will also need to use "AdvancedQuery" to get this efficiency effect to its full extend). Version 1.2 fixes a missing import in "PathIndex" and defines a new method used from Zope 2.8.x on in the "Indexes" tab of the ZMI. ZopeProfiler allows you to profile your Zope requests and analyse the resulting runtime profiles in various ways (timing statistics, callers, callees). Profiling can provide a high degree of insight into the expensive parts of your application and be used as base for runtime optimizations. ZopeProfiler 1.7.1 is a bugfix release. It fixes a bug with regular expressions containing '<' or '&'. It also replaces the function name based output filtering introduced in 1.7 with 'pstats' stdname based filtering. This filtering is more flexible (although a bit more difficult to use) and leverages better the 'pstats' infrastructure. More importantly, entries selected by a regular expression are now sorted as specified. This allows you to quickly determine the most expensive selected functions.
