Resize a image stored in a Oracle's BLOB Field

Hello, Thanks, I have displayed the images which them was stored in a Oracle's BLOB field, with: <dtml-call expr="RESPONSE.setHeader('content-type','image/jpeg')"> <dtml-in SQLMethod_with_a_Only_Row> <dtml-var expr="BLOB_FIELD.read()"> </dtml-in> However, I would like to resize this image. I can not do it with the "height" and "width" attributes, because the image is obtained from a Oracle's BLOB field, and no from image object (i.e.: I can not use <dtml-var "ImageObject.tag(border='5', align='left')">). How can I do it ? Thanks again !

ZCatalog phrase indexing revisited

Hi all, I'm asking this again ,in case anything has changed since the last time. I'm trying to search for a phrase in ZCatalog, but, it doesn't seem to work. Let's say I want to search for "foo bar", if i ask ZCatalog to find it, it treats it as if I wrote "foo OR bar" . Last time I asked this, SteveA kindly replied: You should use quotes to group the phrase. ['"foo bar"'] Take a look in the source code: lib/python/SearchIndex/UnTextIndex.py Follow the flow of code through from line 550: def query( ... however, this doesn't seem to work. You can try it even on the zope.org website using their search interface. Using the above suggested syntax (incl. the brackets) returns an error message. Can anyone help me ? Thx. oren.

I forgot to mention... our neither our z2.log or stupid_log show anything upon freezing. afterwards the stupid_log shows the failed transaction cleanup, but that's it. It's running and working okay, but every so often, when running it, I get: 2001-04-27T09:15:23 PANIC(300) ZODB A storage error occurred in the last phase o f a two-phase commit. This shouldn't happen. The application may be in a hosed state, so transactions will not be allowed to commit until the site/storage is r eset by a restart. Hi Lalo, thanks for your work on ZUnit. I have just been playing with 0.2. To get it working in my zope account at Codeit, I moved Hiper from Shared/ to Products/ and changed the import statements. I also needed to make some changes of this kind: #manage_RunTestsForm = Globals.HTMLFile('Products/ZUnit/dtml/TestRunner/RunTests') manage_RunTestsForm = Globals.HTMLFile('dtml/TestRunner/RunTests',globals()) I'm having trouble figuring out the syntax of the "test_ids" property. Heads up -- big changes on trunk

This notice only applies to developers who are following the bleeding edge of Zope, the CVS trunk. It does not apply if you downloaded Zope from a web site. We're about to check in to the trunk the unified restricted code implementation which is currently on the RestrictedPython branch. The documentation and rationale can be found here: http://dev.zope.org/Wikis/DevSite/Projects/SupportPython21/RestrictedPython We looked at using Bastion and rexec, but neither of them provide the kind of granularity demanded by the Zope security model. So we created a new module, RestrictedPython, which is in fact usable outside Zope. Although the driving goal was to support Python 2.1, this project has given us an opportunity to work on some long-standing issues as well. The restrictions are clearer and finally both DTML and scripts use the same code to implement security. We've tried hard to make the new code work just right, including new unit tests and a couple of optimizations. But there is bound to be some breakage. Also, as the community was warned previously, the new code requires Python 2.1. Shane

Hey Gregor, Yep, thats the ticket. I just removed the encryption from Client Server. I have the scheme now I described to where another Zope displays the information on a development Zope and then shows info on one or more production zopes. An anybody can sync Zope's up. I keep looking at this and wanting to package it up, but just havent gotten around to it yet... Good guiness in Dublin though. Lucky guy. Hi Andy, Whoops, seems like some relict from the Client/Server Product, right?!? Actually I was planning to release a new version of that product, but unfortunately I have quit cdc in Frankfurt a while ago and I'm working for Iona Technologies in Dublin now, and now my work hasn't much to do with Zope any more. :( But, one of the last things I did for cdc was some work on this product and one thing was working on the encryption part, making it optional. Yet, I have the not really finished the code but I've taken it with me to Dublin. So, I hope to be able to spend one or the the other weekend working on Client/Server Product (as well as on ExtFile) and contribute a little to the zope community (to which I still have a great affection). So I will definitely stay on the zope- dev mailing list, follow the discussions and keep in contact with all you great Zopistas out there!
