Hello, Does anyone know to manipulate files within a local filesystem instead of ZODB? Is it possible to do that through a python script or dtml method? Thanks.

zope.app stitching

We need to stitch zope.app into Zope 2 more carefully than we are now. Much of what we are stitching is unreleased in Zope3 and depends on things not stitched nto Zope 2. Among other things, this means that we can't use python2.4 test.py -m. to run all tests without getting test failures. isDavCollection vs. isAnObjectManager

Hi! Is there any good reason why a true 'isAnObjectManager' makes an object a DAV collection? Default excluded tests?

I have configured the test runner to exclude tests for ZConfig, BTrees, persistent, ThreadedAsync, transaction, ZEO, ZODB, ZopeUndo, zdaemon, and zope.testing. My reasoning for excluding these by default was that these packages are all included via externals. They aren't being modified as part of the Zope 2 development process, so why run their tests? I then realized that this applies to all of the zope package. Perhaps I should exclude the zope package as well. Or perhaps we shouldn't exclude anything by default. Thoughts? differences in PropertyManager._setPropValue

Hello zope-dev! I have a question about PropertyManager._setPropValue in 2.6 and its changed version in 2.7-2.8. I found this revision http://svn.zope.org/Zope/trunk/lib/python/OFS/PropertyManager.py?rev=24349&… Why in this method added conversion to the tuple for all the lists? May be better check for 'lines','tokens' property type? I have a properties of type "list", and i expect that getProperty returns the list type.
