ZClasses instances become detached from class

Zopeists, I created a new ZClass with no index_html for viewing. The n I made an instance of it. Then I went back into the ZClass and created an index_html. Now, to my understanding, and the way it used to work, is that the index_html will be added for all the instances. However there is no index_html in the instance. Somewhere the instance go separated from it's class. Anyone else have that same issue? -- Jason Spisak webmaster(a)mtear.com

The problem is because your using manage_catalogObject, which needs a REQUEST object to return to manage_main when it's done. I would suggest:  manage_catalogObject wants at least one argument which MUST be a REQUEST object for it to work without failing (since the urls to index defaults to None, calling manage_catalogObject with only one argument will not catalog anything). In the case of your code, it was interpreting the URL you passed as the REQUEST object, which is why it broke. also, the second argument is in brackets. this is because it must be a sequence. manage_changeProperties not protected by security

Someone reported the bug that 'manage_changeProperties' was not protected by the security mechanisms. This is now fixed. I couldn't find the report on the list or in the Collector, so I'm just generally announcing that it now works. Michel

DCOracle: writing blobs with ' and "

I need to write some HTML documents into a table with a LONG RAW field. I must I convert my ' and " to put the document into the database. In every case my execute() fails with "missing comma" or other strange errors. Any idea ? Propertysheets not working

Zopemisters, Not sure if this is a bug. Is anyone else experienceing this: I add a ZClass. Then add a propertysheet called "Basic" (Using the default as much as possible:) Then when I call propertysheets.Basic.manage_editProperties, I get the AttributeError on "Basic". Propertysheets

I just did an update. It still seems broken, differently, but still broken. Here's the traceback when I have a propertysheet named "properties" and a string property "first_name"  in the add method.
