Collector #2326 - LazyCat bug+fix

FYI, for those inclined to take a look, or anyone willing to apply a patch to ZCatalog.Lazy: http://www.zope.org/Collectors/Zope/2326 This bug affects svn HEAD, Zope 2.10.x, Zope 2.9.x. LazyCat.__repr__() calls __getitem__() in such a way that __add__() functionality is crippled (see collector issue) - causes AttributeError. The problem can be worked around in LazyCat.__init__(), which is what the diff/patch attached to the issue does (does hasattr() check and works around appropriately if lazcat doesn't have '_seq' attribute). Any comments/thoughts appreciated. If this looks good, can someone with commit abilities check this in? Thanks, Sean

WSGIPublisher and Five

I'm trying to work out how to use WSGI with Zope, as I believe that this is the way to attach a filter to Zope output. However the seem to be some issues with Zope 2.10.3. Setting use-wsgi on in zope.conf seems to break Five. The interfaces tab is no longer visible in the ZMI and Plone stops working (giving me an AttributeError: @@plone). This seems tricky to debug though as ZPublisher.test still works. Changing ZPublisher.Test.publish_method to use WSGIPublisher.publish rather than Publish.publish brings up the zope 3 security issues when running the Five tests as bug #2190, but these can be fixed with the same interaction fix that Philipp applied to Publish.py in r71819 (see attached diff). Having applied this fix I still get the same problems with AttributeError: @@plone and the manage_interfaces tab not showing up. If anyone has an example of attaching a filter to Zope output using WSGI you'd make my day. anon http svn access status?

Hi all, This morning I proposed on the plone.dev list to create a anon http mirror of svn.zope.org and to include links to that in the plone bundles. It is one of those perpetual proposals that turn up from time to time buried at the tail end of mailinglist threads. "It would be nice if...". So I started a separate thread for it to get it discussed for real :-) Wiggy rightfully suggested I'd ask it here first, as it would be something that's best handled by svn.zope.org itself. I searched the mailinglist a bit and it seemed that write access using https is out of the question policy-wise, but that http anonymous access could happen. plone's svn has a read-only mirror at google code now, perhaps that's a good option for svn.zope.org, too? ZGDChart on Zope 2.10

Hi ! I am trying to install "ZGDChart" on Zope 2.10.4 (with RedHat Enterprise 5 and Python 2.4.4), but I have not gotten it. I have tried to use: "gd library" (version gd-2.0.34), "gdchart" (version gdchar0.11.5dev), "pygdchart" (version pygdchart2) and "ZGDChart" (version ZGDChart-70), although I have tried different versions, too. I have gotten to compile it and I can to create a graph on Zope, but when I try to view the graph then the ZGDChart product shows the next error: " Module Products.ZGDChart.ZGDChart, line 932, in _setOption" Anybody can help me, about this problem ? Thanks !
