Remember, sendmail, and SMTP in general, don't know anything about MIME, as far as mail transport is concerned, a MIME attachment is just part of the "message". If you place data after the #/mime tag, it is undefined what a mailer will do with it, but it probably won't consider it part of the message that is displayed to the user. My guess is most mailers will just ignore it because it isn't bounded at the end. The #mime tag does not currently support given attachment parts names, so your attchments will be given whatever name your mail wants to give it. This why it is called 'Part 1.2'. Michel, Oh, I wouldn't dream of replacing 'INSTANCE_HOME' on line 270 in lib/python/AccessControl/User.py with my path to 'access'. Actually, more elegantly, where exactly wouldn't I dream of changing the acquisition of PATHs from pcgi (or the Zope.cgi file). Say, if I were careful not to add a new variable to the Zope.cgi file containing the path to 'access', where would I avoid telling Zope to use that new variable. (Actually, a coupla whacks to my head and a 'dig for it, peon' would probably be the answer I deserve.) And thanks, Chris

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? OK. Allow me to clarify. Is there any way to redirect the path for the 'access' path when it should be somewhere other than INSTANCE_HOME? Say, for example, I have multiple instances of Zope databases, with one Zope install, and I want to use a single superuser, or access file. Not what Im' doing, but closer to a mebbe-real-world use. As far as I can tell, Zope wants 'access' located at '../INSTANCE_HOME'. Any ideas? Or am I just wrong (And/Or, that is). Or any ideas for getting around NFS problems without putting '/var' in /tmp? MIME Tools

I love this attatchment capability! I am a mime newbie so I'm not sure how to tell the mail-server that the attatchment is html and then actually have it come accross that way. The code below send fine, and it shows up as an /text/html mime atatchment in a Netscape 4.08 browser, but the name of the attatchment is "Part 1.2" and no 'body' of the mail message comes accross. Also when I view tha attatchment, it is scrambled beyond recognition. I've tried 7bit, base64 encodings. Zope on WinCE Professional (ver 2.00)

I'm considering purchasing a device using the newest WinCE op sys. to run and develop Zope applications. Is anyone using such a device successfully? I seem to recall a problem when no network adaptor is attached. Does this problem resolve itself if a PCMCIA card is inserted, but still not attached to a network? ie used in a mobile situation.
