'with ids' does an exact string comparison to the object's id, 'containing' does a grep style search through the object's 'PrincipiaSearchSource' value (slow!), and 'expr' does a python expression evaluation against the object. It's the identical interface to the regular Zope find, which I believe is documented in one of the guides. It's a short hill up, but it's a long ride down. ;) Obviously, one of the big problems here is documentation, as you mention. property types

I have some stuff I'd like to do with ZClasses - I'm trying to avoid writing Python classes at all when possible. But I'd have to store some stuff sequentially, and some stuff in dictionaries. Is there any way to have list or dictionary properties? Is there any way to add new property types? Zope source code version control

Zope already supports undo via its ODB, but is it possible to do automatic versioning like CVS? That would mean no matter if I update a page (1) via Cold Fusion and then FTP up to Zope (2) via the Zope web interface I can get consistent versioning of my documents. Although I thought of somehow using CVS, it wouldn't handle both (1) and (2). If anyone can point out what's needed to make that work, I will seriously _try to_ write patches, though I don't know how difficult that would be. Is it of interest to ye developers out there? Product Guidelines skeleton

Hi there, As promised, I've created a skeleton document that will hopefully one day be filled with guidelines for product writers. The document should contain what a product should behave like, conform to, look like, and so on. Right now it's a virtually empty skeleton, but take a look and feel free to discuss it on the list (preferably zope-dev instead of zdp; this is more than just a documentation issue; we're in fact _creating_ the guidelines as we go, which seems to be something more for zope-dev). memory error on BSDi [Q]

Hello... I had the following traceback on a Zope-2.0.1 that we are using on a BSDi with a virtual kernel. I had problems compiling it but finally it did...
