Resize a image stored in a Oracle's BLOB Field

Hello, Thanks, I have displayed the images which them was stored in a Oracle's BLOB field, with: <dtml-call expr="RESPONSE.setHeader('content-type','image/jpeg')"> <dtml-in SQLMethod_with_a_Only_Row> <dtml-var expr="BLOB_FIELD.read()"> </dtml-in> However, I would like to resize this image. I can not do it with the "height" and "width" attributes, because the image is obtained from a Oracle's BLOB field, and no from image object (i.e.: I can not use <dtml-var "ImageObject.tag(border='5', align='left')">). How can I do it ? Thanks again !

manage_workspace => index_html

My workspace keeps being redirected to index_html.... Example: http://host/manage_workspace redirects me to http://host/ Likewise, http://host/pi/manage_workspace redirects me to http://host/pi/ I don't understand it, but I see that netscape navigator doesn't seem to have this problem. But Mozilla and Lynx does! Bug in TransparentFolders ???

Hi all, i think i have found a bug in using TransparentFolders. Let it explain step by step. First the Structure: Folder_A Folder_B_Transparent You have Folder( Folder_A ) and create a new TransparentFolder Folder_B_Transparent in Folder_A. Then go to the SecurityManagement of the Folder_B_Transparent and Disable the acquire permission setting of any permission(s), maybe Use MailHost Service or so, and save the changes. Then go Back to the Folder_A and try to open the SecurityTab of Folder_A. I got the following error only if any acquire permission setting is disabled in Folder_B_Transparent:  thanks, as

ZCVSFolder not running on windows

Hi there, I installed the newest version of ZCVSMFolder on my windowsbox. As it uses fork it can not work. However I used a former version under windows. Is this not possible anymore? thanks for any insigth Robert

DTML sqltest tag and python expr. Bug in Zope Book?

Hello everyone, I was recently working on a quite big ZSQL method (around 100 lines). I was using only <dtml-if> and <dtml-sqlvar> tags and a lot of "like '%...%'", so thought I could make things look much nicer using <dtml-sqlgroup> and <dtml-sqltest ... op="like" optional>. But I ran into a big hurdle: I quickly searched through the archive and found the thread "[Zope-dev] ZSQL using LIKE operator", and in particular: http://lists.zope.org/pipermail/zope-dev/2001-February/009339.html which is exactly what I would like to do. But unfortunately, <dtml-sqltest "..."> does not seem to work. We get the following error: " The "..." shorthand for expr was used in a tag that doesn't support expr attributes., for tag <dtml-sqltest [...] " I checked sqltest.py (Zope 2.3.2): no support for python expr in there. Interestingly, the Zope Book mentions the use of python expressions with sqltest in its DTML Reference: http://www.zope.org/Members/michel/ZB/AppendixA.dtml Is there a patched sqltest.py that I don't know about or is this a bug in the book? Anyway, does anyone know of a good reason why the sqlvar tag supports python expr while sqltest does not? Some obscure security hole? Or is the functionality just missing? And in that case, is anyone up for a patch? It's not critical, but the following kind of defeats the purpose of sqlgroup: <dtml-sqlgroup where required> <dtml-if title> title like <dtml-sqlvar "'%%%s%%' % title" type="string"> </dtml-if> <dtml-and> <dtml-if author> title like <dtml-sqlvar "'%%%s%%' % author" type="string"> </dtml-if> </dtml-sqlgroup> The following would be much nicer: <dtml-sqlgroup where required> <dtml-sqltest "'%%%s%%' % title" op="like" type="string" optional> <dtml-and> <dtml-sqltest "'%%%s%%' % author" op="like" type="string" optional> </dtml-sqlgroup> Note: in this particular case, I could preprocess the variables and add the surrounding wildcards in the call to the ZSQL method. But that would restrict the way this method can be called (URL traversal is definitively a cool feature to impress newbies ;) ), and that's not the point here anyway: we would just like python expressions in sqltest tags. UML and XMI support now available in TransWarp CVS

Recently, there has been much interest (on Zope-Dev and elsewhere) in creating Zope and Python applications from UML diagrams. Since to my knowledge there are no other Python libraries currently available for UML/XMI processing, I decided to get busy and "release" a version of TransWarp with support for querying/manipulating UML models and reading XMI files. That version is now available at cvs.eby-sarna.com, for brave UML hackers to experiment with. I say "release", but if you've ever heard the jokes about Klingon programmers, you'll know that "Klingon programmers do not *release* code. Their code escapes, leaving the bloody corpses of testers, users, and documentation writers in its wake." This is pretty much the case for this rough draft of UML/XMI support. It is functional, but the interfaces are subject to future upheaval as I continue refactoring. This "release" is ONLY for people who have a good understanding of UML, and aren't afraid to UTSL (Use The Source, Luke). Current Features: * Load an XMI file into a UML Model object * Query UML model using full StructuralModel features and querying interface * Create your own custom classes for UML elements - e.g. you could redefine "ModelElement" to include a method to print out a nice report on the element's features. You could also implement "executable UML" with this approach. Current Limitations: * **ALL** model attributes are strings, rather than their correct type, so booleans for example are represented as the strings "true" and "false". Note that this doesn't mean you can't manipulate a UML model which *defines* non-string attributes. It's the attributes of the model *itself* (like the 'isRoot' attribute of a 'GeneralizableElement') which are currently all strings. (This will be fixed when I finish refactoring to the full Service-Element-Feature pattern, and every element class has a corresponding Service object responsible for marshalling to/from strings.) * Only the "InMemory" StructuralModel implementation can currently be used, mainly because there aren't any other implementations of the StructuralModel. For example, me explaining XMI or the UML metamodel in general is out of scope. So if for example, the code barfs in the 'xml' package because it can't parse your XMI file, it's probably a problem with the program that generated the XMI. If it barfs in the 'TW' package, it's probably something to do with my code, unless you just have a very nastily malformed XMI file (in which case I'll want to see the smallest version you can send me that still produces the error).
