ZCatalogs with SearchIndexes in ZODB - how to fix?

I've got a Data.fs which has been gradually moved from Zope version to zope version (it's quite possible that the same Data.fs was originally a Data.bbb!) We've been getting the SearchIndex deprecation warning for some time, and I'd like to fix it - as far as I can tell, it's caused by some ZCatalog objects in the ZODB that were created back when using SearchIndex was the hip'n'groovy way to impress the other catalog objects. Short of manually deleting and re-creating all the ZCatalog objects in the ZODB, is there a way to get these puppies updated to get rid of the warnings? Date Time Problem

Hi, another problem occured: I got the script working, which gives me certain values back from the catalog. But this Time thing still doesnt work ! i have tried nearly everything. I use the procedure described in the zope book, but it doesnt work. return context.cata({'content' : id, 'date' : DateTime()-7, 'date_usage' : 'range:min', }) I always get back all catalog items. Has anyone ever expierienced the same problem ? If yes, please help me, i dont know how to proceed .... thanx Sebastian

How to get Entrys from a catalog by date boundaries

Hi, I've tried to select all entrys from a catalog by defining the date boundaries(Python script). Looks like this: id=context.getId() return context.cata( {'content' : id, 'date': [datestart, dateend], 'date_usage' : 'range:min:max', } ) cata = my catalog,datestart =start date(date-string),dateend=end date When I send my request, the only things I get back are some <MYBRAnI instance at #123848>-tags. For the beginning i would just like to get the ids of the items in the boundaries. How can i achieve that? Please help !! Sebastian

updating homebrew extension of structured text to standard

Hi, i have a ZClass with a property which is renderd as structured text. Because i designed this ZClass before there was a standard for including images, i made my own extension of structured text formating. Short: I used __imageobject__ as markup for the image. Now i want to update all my zclass instances to the new syntax (while upgrading to Zope 2.5.1). I have a Python Script listKBE, which call an External Method updateKBE. If i use it with a path with only a few ZClass instances (about 10) it works (slowly). If i use it with a path with about 550 instances it crashes or is extreme slow. Anyone to suggest a faster method? Massive Problems with sessions

Hello! Suddenly I am getting massive problems with Zope 2.5.1 sessions. The Zope instance was upgraded from 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 and has a lot more load now as it is in production. Nothing else has changed I guess. The problems: Frequent "duplicate key errors", and now a new one when I try to enter the session_data container (standard install with a temporary folder storing the sessions): Site Error An error was encountered while publishing this resource.
