What's the deal with sublocations?

Most ObjectEvents are dispatched to "sublocations". I was wondering whether it is ok for me to expect a certain dispatch order, i.e. top- down (container before sublocation) or bottom-up (sublocation before container)? What I find is that this order depends on things like the exact interface a handler is registered for and, in Zope 2.9 (+3.2), even on the way I run tests (!). I can only conclude that there is no guaranteed dispatch order. Now, should there be? Where can I learn about this contract? OT: zc.buildout / ploneout

Hi, I have inherited an existing buildout architecture developed in-house which is becoming difficult to support and maintain. There are about 25 setup tasks in total. I am considering moving it to using zc.buildout. Two questions: - is there a central repository of recipes anywhere? for example, one of our current build tasks is a squid installation, which, i think would be of common interest if converted to a recipe. so far I've only come across zope3-based recipes, the zope2 installer, and ploneout. - are there any developers with zc.buildout experience that would be interested in contracting to do this work?
