zc.extrinsicreference release

Hi. Wondering if zc.extrinsicreference ought to be included in the versions.cfg. Currently it is at 0.1dev. It has been this way in the repository for about a year. Could/should it be released? Many thanks. Regards, David

zc.icp

Last week I released a small package that lets a web application (Zope or not) respond to ICP (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2186.html) requests. Using zc.icp you can create policies tell a cache tier which requests they would like to serve and which ones they should not be sent. For example, you could have a policy that one instance serves images and another serves everything else. The PyPI page (http://pypi.python.org/pypi/zc.icp) includes an overview of ICP and zc.icp. ppix-updater down?

Hi there, I cannot find packages on the ppix, that were released yesterday. For example plone.recipe.plone-3.0.6 is missing or gocept.recipe.deploymentsandbox (0.1.0). Normally, the lag is about a few minutes. Does the update process hang again? Kind regards, -- Uli

Zope 3 without ZODB

Hi Chris. I was scanning the lists looking for posts similar to this. Were you successful in getting something like this to work? Anyone else document anything like this? I wrote a different main.py at some point about a year or so ago so both twisted clients and servers to could be started up using schemas for zconfig but am looking at possibilities without and with other non ZODB backends. I see Philip provided some clues for a mixin that could be used to glue the publisher's traversal mechanism together with an alternative storage. Many thanks.
