2.6.1 Plan?

In Florent's message on date screwup he mentioned 2.6.1... > I know 2.6.1 is supposed to be finished pretty soon but not within a week, right? :-) Is there a plan, schedule etc for 2.6.1? I couldn't find it in the Wiki's but that doesn't mean much :) Want put ZCatalog Caching proposal (working on) and SQL Caching proposal in somewhere and Im not sure where to look. My 2.6.0 feature patch didn't make it!?

I submitted 2 features to 2.6, gzip compression ftp pasv port range spec the first one made it, the 2nd one didn't. There is absolutely no chance of this. The reason, of course, is that there is no way for the ZODB to know what changes are meaningful. The right way to track meaningful application events is to do so at the application level. For example, Zope 3 tracks creation and modification times that have nothing to do with database time stamps. It's up to application code to publish IObjectCreatedEvents and IObjectModifiedEvents. There are subscribers for these events that record the times of the events in Dublin-Core meta-data elements that can be queried by application code. ZSQLMethod/Z Database Connection namespace

Hi, I have a product that stores customer information in mysql using ZSQLMethods. I would like each customer to have a different mysql database (same structure), but all use the same ZSQLMethods for access. So, I tried the following: / - root contains ZSQLMethods and default DB Connector (seems to be required for editing the methods) /CustomerA - contains DB Connector with same name as in root, but uses different mysql database /CustomerB - contains DB Connector with same name as in root, but uses different mysql database And assumed that /CustomerA/showdata would use the DB Connector in the 'CustomerA' directory, but no matter what it uses the DB Connector in the root directory. It seems that the ZSQLMethods namespace is put on top and any other DB Connectors are ignored. Is this intentional or a bug? I can patch Shared.DC.ZRDB.DA with the following: try: nsCid = getattr(aq_parent(self), self.connection_id) except: ns = self else: ns = aq_parent(self) #try: dbc=getattr(self, self.connection_id) <---<<< old code try: dbc=getattr(ns, self.connection_id) Is this the only way to solve the problem? using <dtml-in> to call zsql method

i am using the <dtml-in> tag to call a zsql method based on the results of this query i call a another dtml document. however i am getting a error when i submit the form it trys to download the page it is calling next is this a common error? I think this screwup of mine well cause a lot problems starting next week. Maybe it's a good idea to make a hotfix for it? get_request() and GlobalRequestPatch

I just looking in to some products (Localizer/ZBabel) that uses get_request from the GlobalRequestPatch. Is this still necessary or are there any more modern solutions to this patch (that is quite old)? Queue object in Zope products

Hello, I am working on a Zope product that throws data into a queue that is monitored by a number (3) of producers. Producers can talk to Corba objects. I use omniOrb for this. Producers take out data from the outqueue and send it to other Corba objects. However, if I put msg's in the queue with the post method from a page template, and I do this a couple of times, quickly, I get an attribute error on self._v_inqueue. It is somehow gets lost.
