Broken DateIndex test

Hi, this test is broken over here but it doesn't look like that it relates to my changes on the BaseRequest. zope's ESMTP support

hi all, I want to make our Zope 2.7 based site support ESMTP MailHost. And I found 2 resource: 1. "ESMTP MailHost":http://zope.org/Members/bowerymarc/ESMTPMailHost. After a simple test, I found the product is likely not compatible with Zope 2.7. 2. cvs head of zope's default MailHost product. The cvs log said it supports ESMTP now. And now I am more interested in the 2nd product. What is the status? compatible with zope 2.7? stable to use? (It doesn't work with my zope2.7 too :-( ) Could anyone give me any info? -- panjunyong

Zope2.7.0rc2 AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'setHeader'

Hi all, We're in the process of migrating our sites to 2.7, so to get the guys up to speed we picked a site at random today. Did the /usr/local/zope/bin/mkzopeinstance.py jig (works very well), copied the Data.fs, some external methods, a Zwiki product and were good to go. This is from a Zope-2.6.1 site. We found out that LocalFS needed updating, so found a 2.7 compatible version and installed that. http://www.my-zope.org/Members/kedai/LocalFS-1-1-0.tgz/file_view Now we have a very peculiar error, that I'm not posting to the Zope list as it's the RC2 version of Zope2.7 that we're using. We have an index_html (initially DTML document, then tried method) that can be created (located at /prototype/myporfolio/index_html), have it's security settings changed quite happily. Then when the object is called we get the error in the subject line. I've looked through the zope-dev archives and can't find anything related (unless it's got something to do with manage_page_charset not being callable? The only thing I could find on the collector was issue 381, http://collector.zope.org/Zope/381 'HEAD request method broken' - but that doesn't seem relevant in this condition. *Any* thoughts would be gratefully received. Errors on Z2 HEAD

Howdi, I just prepared the post traversal checkin and was running the full load of Z2 unit tests (which are quiet slow in my oppinion right now. PageTemplates and Euro Symbol

Hi all, I am currently working on a project to generate a load of invoices for a client. In doing so I have developed a product RMLPageTemplates (can be downloaded from http://www.openapp.biz/devel ) which basically extends the PageTemplates product so that I can embed tal statements into a RML xml file and then use trml2pdf to produce a the invoice in PDF. Now the client wants a book of all the current invoices which I create by basically following the instructions on this zopelab page (http://www.zopelabs.com/cookbook/1010674274) to loop through each of the invoices and to get the PDF data for that invoices using the mapply function and then to create one big PDF file with the texexec command line program. Now the problem is that the Euro symbol which I have in the invoices is only showing up on the first page of my book and not any of the later pages. On the later pages I am seeing a question mark instead of euro symbol. By printing out the xml returned directly from the PageTemplate product (before it gets converted to PDF by the trml2pdf module) I can see that the euro symbol is missing from all but the first page in my loop and I have that dreaded question mark instead.I have seen the question mark showing up before when I had the charset and/or the xml encoding set wrong in but I thought I got around that. I am pretty stuck at the moment and would appreciate any help Thanks a million, Michael Kerrin

Managing the work with the listen() backlog instead of Medusa's request queue has the benefit of being less resource intensive (Medusa doesn't have to do anything). If Zope is behind a HTTP accelerator/surrogate or load balancer, the surrogate's connect() should fail if the listen queue is full, and it may return 503 anyways (not tested). In the end, the most important point is to put an upper bound on the request backlog (and therefore the response time). Bye, -- Bjorn
