MailHost need to be modified?

Hi,all When I used MailHost to serve my project to send mail, It cannot work properly. I have to press two ENTER in the comments fields. Otherwise the message that user input cannot appeare in the body of the Email. I think that this fault should be correct to fit the use. Thanks a lot! Victor zhai.

zopistas, I'm starting up that web hosting company I nattered on about a bit ago, and I was wondering what I should do to get the manage* working properly with SSL: i.e., how do I control what zope prepends to BASE (http, https, ftp)? TIP: Must enable 'new' for FreeBSD Python 1.5.2 port to install PythonMethods

I thought I would pass this on to the assembled geniuses since I just found it out. FreeBSD 3.3 stable, running Zope for a while, Python 1.5.2 built long ago, everything working fine. Decided to install the PythonMethods product -- it comes up broken. The error came in zbytecodehacks/opbases.py, line 1: import struct,dis,new because there was no module 'new'. It turns out that in the FreeBSD port of Python 1.5.2 (/usr/ports/lang/python), the Modules/Setup file is substituted with one that turns off Tommy Burnette's 'newmodule'. I have no idea why this should be, or why they didn't make whatever changes they needed as a Patch rather than an absolute overwrite of the file, but however it happened, you need to turn it back on in Modules/Setup and then remake and reinstall. Once I did that, PythonMethods comes up fine and other products (like BannerFolder-0.3) that rely on it, install as well.

Problem with new Banner System (and workaround

Umm ... seem to have generated an issue with Renderable in the first traceback. current CVS product importing broken?

I'm running current-CVS, and I'm finding that no matter what I do, no new products will be imported, and that if I delete the entries from Control_Panel/Products (say, MailHost), and restart, it's still gone. I'm digging into the code right now, but I'm really confused - can someone else out there confirm this, or is it just me? ta, Anthony

I need to do this: "PARENTS[0].objectValues('Foo Object')" in python. OK, another one. I think I know the answer, bur calrification is nice :) If in a ZClass I am subclassing from ObjectManager, how would I subclass that in python? Accessing UMS0, UMS1, etc.

Hi! After some of my questions about accessing other objects were answered by the main question still hangs in the air (How do I access the object at http://localhost:8080/ ? ), my next question is: In DTML-Documents or methods I have names like URL0 and URL1 in the namespace to call with dtml-var to easy generate links in the HTML code. Where are these names when I want htem to use in a Product? I only found the PATH_TRANSLATED item of REQUEST.environ. If I want to e.g. redirect a request to some objects above in the tree I do now somethinf like: dirname, basename = os.path.split(REQUEST.environ.get("PATH_TRANSLATED")) REQUEST.RESPONSE.redirect(dirname + "/logout?sess=%s&reason=%s" % (self.id, urllib.quote(self.reason))) (This is for logging out of a session object.) Could this be done more easily? I know that I have a logout method also in the child objects because of the namespace overlapping, but then soon the URL gets very long and unusable.
